In
addition to the music, there was a raffle, with quite a number of
prizes, from guitar strings to an acoustic guitar. Sal's CD,
“Lost in the Music” was available for patrons to purchase,
and several of the guest artists also made available their CD's.
There was a good crowd, especially for
a Tuesday night, and between admissions and the raffle, a tidy sum was
realized for the DiTroia family.
In preparation for this
event, TBFGG members Ted Wray, Don “Hambone” Hanby, Terry Premru and
Michael Marth appeared
on Tampa's WMNF 88.5 FM, on the “Live Music
Showcase” on August 17th, and on August 24th, on WTSP-TV, Channel 10, Tampa Bay, Ted Wray and Michael Marth appeared on “Studio 10”, and our Media page has a report on these performances.
